What is a rewards credit card?
Rewards credit cards come in all flavors. Some cards give you cash back, others give you airline miles or phone minutes, and still others help you get your kids through college.
When looking through and comparing all the possible rewards cards, think about what rewards are really the most important to you. What will you use the card for? Will the rewards actually add to something, or will all those “points” just get thrown away, because they are too hard to keep track of? The best rewards cards give you things you really need (like rebates at your favorite clothing store), or help you get to where you want to go (literally!)
As always when comparing any credit cards, be sure to look at all the fees and charges, and read the fine print! You have to be happy with your choice when the monthly bills start coming in.
